Listening Anxiety Experienced by English Language Learners: A Comparison between Iranian and Turkish Teacher Candidates

This study focuses on the listening anxiety experienced by teacher candidates (TCs) in Iran and Turkey. Using different data collection methods, including two questionnaires, test, semi-structured interviews, this tried to investigate factors behind Foreign Language Listening Anxiety (FLLA) among Iranian (TCs). The participants of context were 29 studying at BA level English Teaching. All asked complete these questionnaires with background information regarding their age, gender, years language study. participants’ answers FLLAS FLCAS analyzed spss obtain frequencies percentages. results compared same Bekleyen. findings revealed that TCs a high FLLA Turkish showed significant positive correlation between FLCA, which means higher levels tended have anxiety.
